Olivia Y. Scott, 73, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 in a healthcare facility in Atlanta.She was a member of the 1956 Class of Howard High School.She was a former employee of Home Instead Senior Care.She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. John R. and Clydie B. Scott; brother, ONeal Scott; and sister, Gloria J. Thompson.Survivors include her sons, Aaron Cameron Jr., Seattle, Wash., Kevin (Sophia) Cameron, Tampa, Fla.; daughters, Jessica Holmes, Chattanooga, Romona (Artez) Waller, Douglasville, Ga.; brother, Edgar Jerome (Linda) Scott; grandchildren, Sharon Cameron, of Germany; Daniel Cameron, of Germany; Shedrica Holmes, Chattanooga; Shamekia Holmes, of Savannah, Akinyele Cameron, Holy Springs, N.C., KKengie Cameron, Holy Springs, N.C., Keyara Bush, Douglasville, Ga., Artez Waller, Douglasville, Amira Waller, Douglasville.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, in the chapel.Interment in Highland Memorial Gardens.The body will lie in state after noon today with the family receiving friends from 67 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
