RINGGOLD Mary Virginia Jennings, 81, departed this life on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012.She was born in Cleveland, Tenn., to the late Western and Rosetta Standridge and was a member of Burning Bush Baptist Church.She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Jennings; and daughter, Elizabeth Walker.Survivors include her children, Charles (Edna) Jennings, of Fort Payne, Earl Jennings, of Rocky Face, Eva (Steve) Hanshaw, Nancy Byrd, all of Ringgold, Rose (Hershel) ODell, of Henegar, Ala.; siblings, Warren Standridge, of Huntsville, Ala., Frances Jewell, of LaFayette, Charles Standridge, of Oklahoma, Billy Standridge, of Ringgold, Bonnie Drake, Patsy McElkannon, both of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 in the funeral home chapel.The family will receive friends from 3 8 p.m. today and prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Burning Bush Baptist Church Building Fund 2195 Burning Bush Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736.Arrangements are by W.L.
