Reba Woods Patmon, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, in a local hospital.She was formerly employed by Dr. Harold Schwartz and was a faithful member of East Third Street Church of Christ and later moved her membership to the Southside Church of Christ where she remained faithful until her health failed.She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie H. Patmon Jr.; sons, Willie Patmon, III and Willie Frank Patmon Jr.; daughter, Hazel Woods; parents, Hosea and Maggie Woods; brother, Walker Woods; sisters, Sarah Woods, Hattie Mae Woods and Cora Lee Ritchie.Survivors include sons, David Patmon, Aamory Patmon, both of Los Angeles, Calif., Johnny (Colby) Patmon, of Chattanooga, Arthur (Barbara) Patmon, of Commerce, Ga., James (Ernestine) Patmon, of Conyers, Ga., and Harrison (Linda) Patmon, of Winder, Ga.; daughters, Sheila (Robert) Barnette and Eleanor (Ivan) Dutton, both of Chattanooga; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Hosea Woods Jr., of Chattanooga; sisters, Corine Johnson and Henrietta Belle, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. today at the East Third Street Church of Christ with Brother John R. Taylor Sr. as the eulogist.Burial: Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
