Tyrone Lansden departed this earthly life on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012.He was the son of the late James Howard Lansden Sr. and Louise Thomas was born on Feb. 20, 1949, in Chattanooga. Tyrone attended Howard High School.He was preceded in death by his parents, James Howard Lansden Sr. and Louise Thomas; brothers, Julius Lebron Pruitt and James Howard Lansden Jr.; nephew, Eric Lansden and grandson, Dedrick Johnson.Those left to cherish his loving memory are his devoted ex-wife, Bertha Lansden; children, Anthony (Sophia) Lansden, Kelley McDonald, Corey Lansden, Sherry Johnson, Krisha (Tyrus Blalock) Lansden, Xavier Lansden and Tynequa Lansden; brother, Randolph (Roseann) Thomas; sisters, Carolyn Lansden, Beatrice Thomas and Renee Lansden; 28 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.Funeral at 3 p.m. today, Aug. 18, 2012, in the funeral home chapel with Elder Wilbert McClure officiating.Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Franklin-StricklandPinkard-Bryan Funeral Directors, 1724 McCallie Ave., 423-265-4414 is honored to be serving the Lansden family.
