DAYTON William Lloyd Garrison, 78, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Rhea Medical Center.He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, was retired from the state of Tennessee Wildlife Division, and a member of Texas Grove Baptist Church where he served as choir director.He was preceded in death by parents, William Clinton and Hazel Berniece Taylor Garrison; brother, J.T. Garrison.Survivors include wife, Helen Harris Garrison, Dayton; five daughters, Kathy (Frank) Gineaco and Deborah (Basil) Mersereau, all of New York, Penny (Tommy) Everett, Pikeville, Tenn., Candi (Scott) Owensby, Roxanne (Tony) Thompson, both of Dayton; three sons, William A. Garrison, Oregon, John B. (Lisa) Garrison, Dayton, Rodney Marler, Soddy-Daisy; six sisters, Martha Williamson, Hixson, Leuty Johnson and Mary Lawrence, both of Dayton, Judy Hindman, Walland, Tenn., Bertha Tipps, Hixson, Aileen Terry, Kentucky; four brothers, Robert F. Garrison, Dayton, Harold Garrison, Cleveland, Tenn., Jim Garrison, Germany, and Ted Garrison, Hixson; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Texas Grove Baptist Church with Rev.
