Mary Louise Blair Willie, Signal Mountain, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at Alexian Health Care Center on Signal Mountain.Mrs. Willie was born on Sept. 1, 1914, in Gary, Ind., daughter of the late James Hardy Blair and Melissa Viola Hatley Blair and the widow of John Frederick "Jack" Willie. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Mrs. Willie was preceded in death by her sister, Frances B. Applegate; and brother, James H. Blair.Survivors are son, John F. Willie Jr.; daughters, Kathie W. Phillips, Susan W.V Walker, Mary W. (Jim) Lynn; six grandchildren, James R. (Melissa) Sheorn III, Mary Kathryn (Bill) Moore, Samuel A. Houck, Kathryn D. Houck, Aaron J. (Becky) Avakian, John F. (Crystal) Avakian; four stepgrandchildren, Kimberly M. Escalante, Dorothy W. (Ray) Bailey, Kellie W (Michael) Herlong; Stephanie Lynn; 16 great-grandchildren.Relatives and friends of "Lou" are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Alexian Chapel.Visitation will be one hour before the service. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to either Alexian Village of Tennessee Ceritas Fund, 437 Alexian Way, Signal Mountain TN 37377, or Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, P.O. Box 1208, Fortson, Ga. 31808.Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
