Patricia Ann Denning, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at her home. She was of the Protestant faith. She was a wonderful painter and was an avid craftsman and gardener. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and ODell Floyd; sisters, Paula Holland, Carolyn Sue Floyd.She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William Denning; son, Greg (Tonya) Denning; daughter, JoAnn (Tommy) Barbee; brothers, David Floyd, Phillip (Charlotte) Floyd; sisters, Faye Floyd, Ellen (James) Summers; grandchild, Aleece Barbee.Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Christy Bonner officiating. Interment will follow the service at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
