Susie Hughes Cooper, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Aug. 20, 2012.A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area she was a former employee of DeSota where she worked for 21 years and was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her five brothers, Earl Hughes, Charlie Hughes, Calvin Hughes, Alfred Hughes and Henry Hughes; and two sisters, Pauline Carey and Allie Brannon.She is survived by her children, Wanda (Robert) Freeman, of Ringgold, Ga., Jerry Vineyard, of Chattanooga, and Mildred (Joe) DiGivonno, of Redwood Valley, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today and until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
