FLINTSTONE Harold Lee White, 85, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012.A resident of the North Georgia area most of his life, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees where he served during WWII, a former employee of Uniform Rental Service where he retired as General Manager and a member of Lookout Baptist Church.Harold was a charter member of the Chattanooga Valley Lions Club with over 42 years of perfect attendance, serving as president five times and was a member of the Rossville Masonic Lodge #397 F&AM.He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Grace Evelyn Hickey White; parents, James William "Whistle" and Mable White; stepson, Danny Cummings; sister, Margaret Williams; brother, James Albert White and one grandson.Survivors include, sons, Jerry (Karen) White, of Ringgold, Ga., and Don (Joyce) White, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; daughter, Reba (George) Perry, of Flintstone, Ga.; step-sons, Ken Killingsworth and David (Sharon) Cummings; step-daughter, Judy (Johnny) Huckabee, all of Lookout Valley; brother, Ray (Betty) White, of Rochester, TX; sister, Jean Hubbard, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a special caregiver, Flora Lee Kernea.Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Burns officiating.
