Hazel Brock, 66, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012. Hazel was born in Cleveland, Tenn., but spent most of her life on Signal Mountain. She was a very loving wife, mother and friend. Hazel never met a stranger and will be sincerely missed by all who loved and knew her. Hazel retired from Citizen's Tri-County Bank in 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Starlin W. and Muriel Howard Chadwick. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Larry J. Brock; two children, Leslie Brock (Jeff) Kay, Hixson and Larry J. Brock II, Signal Mountain; 5 grandchildren, Cooper Kay, Addison Kay, Dylan Brock, Bode Brock and Berklye Brock; one sister, Leila Frances Britton, Hixson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, in the chapel with Rev. Don Taylor officiating. Burial is in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Scott Britton, Larry Brock II, Darrell Clayton, Jeff Kay, Jim McGowan and Mike McGowan serving as pallbearers.
