ROSSVILLE Homer Edgar Neely, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012.A resident of the Harrison, Tenn., area for most of his life, he was a former employee of the Cavalier Corporation and was of the Baptist faith.He is preceded in death by his wife, Paulette Neely; parents, Oscar Edgar and Julie Dove Barbee Neely; and sister, Louise Gray.He is survived by seven children, Dianne White, of Birchwood, Tenn., Steven (Pam) Neely, of Ringgold, Ga., Carolyn (James) Catchings, of Harrison, Tenn., Teresa (Roger) Dobbins, of Ooltewah, Tenn., Ronald Neely, of Ringgold, Ga., Jackie Neely, of Ringgold, Ga., and Carlton Morrison, of Rossville, Ga.; two sisters, Birtie Ramsey and Leon Brady, both of Cleveland, Tenn.; brother, Oscar "Doc" Neely, of Red Bank, Tenn.; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, in the funeral home chapel with Minister John Cupp officiating.
