CHICKAMAUGA Leona Metcalf Pierce, 90, passed away Tuesday Aug. 28, 2012.She was born in Macon, Ga., to the late W.L. and Nellie Mae Gladson and was of the Baptist faith.She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Tom Brown, Gus Metcalf and Earl Pierce; son, Martin Thomas Brown; three brothers; and two sisters.She is survived by her grandchildren, Andrew Oliver Brown, Thomas Earl Brown, Donna Roland; four great-grandchildren; special niece, Faye Thomas-Morris; and many nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. today, Aug. 29, 2012 at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will receive friend from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home Fort Oglethorpe.
