Cynthia Barbara McCoy Tripp, 93, of Chattanooga went home peacefully to be with her Lord, Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012.Cynthia loved to garden, read, travel and was very compassionate towards animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting with her many friends. She was never without a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. Cynthia will be deeply missed by all who knew her.She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and the Watts Sunday School Class.She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Tripp; Father, Luther "Spot" McCoy; Brother, John McCoy; sister, Robin Cuthalion; and grandson, Michael Vineyard.Survivors are her daughters, Shirley Vineyard, Judy (Melvin) McDowell and Jimmie S. (Jack) Holloway; sisters, Julia Buckner and Janet M. McNeil; brother, James M.
