Margaret "Sophie" Wilson Parker, 90, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012.She was a life-long resident of Apison, and a member of Apison United Methodist Church.She has lived with her daughter in Ringgold, Ga. for the past five years.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Wilson and Cora Brock Wilson; husband Albert Guy Parker Sr.; sons, Albert G. Parker Jr., Donald L. Parker; daughter, Glenda Correll; brothers, Willard, Kenneth, Herman, Robert Wilson; and sister, Betty Leach.She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Roberson and son-in-law, Willie Roberson of Ringgold; grandsons, Michael (Kathy) Roberson, of Ringgold, Brandon Roberson, of Apison and Matthew (Wendy) Parker, of Harrison; granddaughter, Sabrina Correll Walker, of Ringgold and eight great-grandchildren.Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Apison United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Todd Chancy and the Rev.
