Marchant Nelson Terrell, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at a local nursing home.He was a 1968 graduate of Howard High School. He was employed by the Chattanooga Fire Department for 17 years and later worked for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.He was preceded in death by his grandparents/parents, Alfred and Cora Beeman; sister, Marian Finn; mother, Idella Sparks and brother, Marvin Beeman.Survivors include his daughters, Stephanie (Rodney) Hammonds, of Chattanooga and April Terrell, of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; grandchildren, Dre'Shion Terrell and Raven Hammonds; brothers, Samuel (Mary) Terrell, of Indiana and Aaron Price, of Atlanta; sisters, Marian Price, of Atlanta and Ilesa Price, of Louisville, Ky.; great-aunt, Artie Heathington of Detroit, MI; devoted friend, Celestine Walton of Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.Family hour will be today at 6 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the chapel. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery.
