Lorraine Hoffman Baker, 91, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 in Seminole, Fla.She was a seaman in the Navy and a longtime volunteer at the VA Hospital, Bay Pines, Fla. She was the first teachers aide for Chattanooga City Schools where she retired. She was a member of the American Legion, Madeira Beach Seniors Club and a Florida Stock Club.She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Hubert K. Baker; parents, Albert and Julia Morse Hoffman; siblings, Helen Miller, Ruth Gay, Flo Kortright, Al Hoffman, Art Hoffman and Frank Hoffman.Survivors include her children, Steven (Elaine) Baker, of Knoxville, Karen Baker Dobbs, of Chattanooga and Gary (Kathie) Baker, of San Angelo, Texas; grandchildren, Kellie (Alan) Stanfield, of Griffin, Ga., Nichole (Joe) Frederick, of Roaring Springs, Pa., April Nelson of Crossville, Lori (Rick) Taylor, of Olathe, Kan., Madeleine (Eric) Baker-Goering, of Atlanta, Zachary and Nicholas Baker, of College Station, Texas, Ryan and Josie Baker, of San Angelo, Texas; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in Chattanooga at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Bill Harvey officiating.Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at the National Crematory Society in Clearwater, Fla.Memorial contributions may be made c/o Voluntary Services, Room 105, Bldg 2, Bay Pines VAHCS, P.O.
