Odessa Moon, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 in a local hospital.She was a 1966 graduate of Howard High School and a former employee of Hamilton County Schools for 25 years where she later retired.Survivors include her daughter, Yolanda Batts (Ronald) Fitch; grandsons, Kevin Greer Jr. and Dominique Greer; great-granddaughter, Ke'Irrah Linder, all of Chattanooga; mother, Ruby L. Hatten; five sisters, Louise (Tommy) Conley, of Columbus, Ohio, Pearly Hockenhull, Brenda Collins, both of Chattanooga, Linda Stinson, and Glenda Collins, both of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Tony (Cleona) Hatten of Chattanooga and Warrick (Alvenia) Hatten of Los Angeles, Calif.; close friend, Ernest McReynolds; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.Funeral service is atnoon Wednesday, Dec. 19, in the chapel with Pastor A.D. Hanner as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.Visitation is today from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
