LAKEVIEW Clara Lucille Lusk Harris, 91, passed peacefully at her residence surrounded by family Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.She was a lifelong resident of Lakeview. Mrs. Harris was a member of Lakeview First Baptist Church for over 60 years and was a member of the TEL Sunday School Class and the Sunshiners. She was a member of Senior and Friends of Fort Oglethorpe and Rossville. Mrs. Harris served on the board for Catoosa County Family and Childrens Services. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mable Lusk; husband, George William Harris; and brothers, Howard and John T. Lusk.Survivors are son, Donnie (Terri) Harris, Rossville; daughters, Lois Ann (Gary) Alverson, Ringgold, Pam (James V.) Snyder, Signal Mountain and Veneti (Michael) Stephenson, Ringgold; grandchildren, Mike Stephenson, Hayden Harris, Brandon Palmer, Angela Cathey, Amy Owens, Mandy McKnight, Jennifer Carver, Emily Snyder, and Lauren Snyder; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.Funeral services will be noon Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Patrick Cooper and Rev. David Bolling officiating.Interment will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the TEL Sunday School Class.Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeview First Baptist Church Building Fund, 10 Hudson St., Rossville, GA 30741.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort with the family and view the memorial tribute.The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service on Friday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
