James Randolph


Jr.,ROSSVILLE James Melvin Randolph Jr., 70, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012. He was born to the late James Melvin Randolph Sr. and Lillie Mae Parham Jones in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Nov. 23, 1942. He grew up in Ider, Ala., and formerly lived in Orlando, Fla. He retired from TVA and enjoyed NASCAR, golf and working on cars. Survivors include his son, Randall Allan (Tammy) Randolph, of Rome; daughter, Christy Randolph, of Woodstock; brother, Paul N. Randolph, of Chattanooga; sister, Evon (Reverend Max) Kessler of Ringgold; two Grandchildren, Coty and Kyle Randolph; several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends today from 5-9 p.m. (EST) at Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, GA and Saturday at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Henagar, AL from 5-9 p.m.The Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. (CST) Sunday, Dec. 23, in the Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Biddle Cemetery at Friendship Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe and Cornerstone Funeral Home, Henagar, AL.
