Martha Waller


ROSSVILLE Martha L. Waller, 86, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 in local healthcare facility.She was a retired bookkeeper with the Tennessee Department of Children and Family Services in Hamilton County and was of the Baptist faith. She was devoted mother, grandmother and sister.She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Lewis Waller; grandson, Matthew Wiley; parents, Wiley and Amanda Lamberth; and brother, J. L. Lamberth.Survivors include sons, Joe (Eva) Waller and Bob Waller; daughter, Martha (Michael) Black; sister, Ruth (Jack) Williamson; sister-in-law, Evelyn Lamberth; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.comGraveside services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 2 p.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The family requests that no flowers be sent.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
