Jack A. Ellis, 78, of Hixson, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012. Jack was born, went to school, and began his movie theatre career in South Pittsburg, Tenn. Jack also served in the United States Air Force from 1956-62.He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Brady.He is survived by his brother, Tom (wife, Dorothy) Ellis, of Powder Springs, Ga.; sister, Martha (husband, Clarence) Blevins, of Trion, Ga.; brother-in-law, Jim Brady, of Jasper, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.Services to be planned at a later date.
