Marie M. Arnold, 80, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012.Marie was a member of the Red Bank Baptist Church, and the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class.She was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Vacie McClure Massengale; son, James Darrell Arnold; sister, Frances Kelley.Marie is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, James W. Arnold; daughter; Lynn (Phil) Wilson; son, Lamar (Sherie) Arnold; and four grandchildren, Kim Arnold, Josh and Erin Wilson, Katie Arnold; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 12, 2012, at the North Chapel.Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Bert Jones officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
