WILDWOOD Steve William Mason, 60, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 in a local hospital. He retired from Chicago Transit Authority and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul C. Mason, Sr.; mother, Janie Mason; and sister, Sharon Mason. Survivors: wife, Karen Mason; son, Steven Mason, of San Francisco, Calif.; daughters, Kalani Mason (DeAndre Jennings), of Norfolk, Va., and Toya Mason, of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren; brother, Paul (Virginia) Mason, of Chattanooga; sisters, Brenda (Robert) Reed, of Belvidere, Tenn., and Jackie (Reginald) Mosby, of Memphis, Tenn.; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.Visitation will be today from 4-6 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday July 2, at noon at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (6364 Slygo Road, Wildwood, Georgia) with Pastor Larry Owens, eulogist. Burial will be in Hooker Cemetery.
