Carl Nolan Blair was called home Tuesday, July 10, 2012 to be with the Lord at the age of 103.Mr. Blair lived a long and courageous life, he always put his family before himself and was quick to help a neighbor in need. He believed strongly in the words of Christ and lived them in his day to day life. We will miss you Husband, Daddy, Papaw, and Friend.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Edna Blair; his son Charles Blair; and his grandson Steve Austin. He is survived by his children; Pauline Atchley, Ed Blair, Dimple Blair, Doris Griffith and Deborah Wilson; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday July 13, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Allison and Rev. Brian Cannon officiating.
