RINGGOLD Myrtle Ramona Dunn Parks, 83, passed away Tuesday July 17, 2012.A lifelong resident of the Catoosa County area, she was a former employee of Parkside Nursing Home and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Edward Parks; daughter, Janie Chard; parents, Walter and Una Mae Hannah Dunn; and two brothers, Billy and Charles Dunn. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Parks of Ringgold; four children, Linda (Larry) Templeton, of Ringgold, Lamar Parks, of Ringgold, Sherry (Harold) Peters, of Ringgold, and Ronald (Mary) Parks, of LaFayette, Ga.; two sisters, Peggy Hullender, of Tunnel Hill, Ga., and Bobbie Yates, of Ringgold; eight grandchildren; 20 grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Roger Templeton and Rev.
