Virginia Bowers Ramsay, 90, widow of Andy Bowers and of David Ramsay, died at her residence early Sunday morning, July 15, 2012.Virginia is remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother and friend.She is survived by her son, Nelson Bowers and wife, Pam; daughter, Anna Schalk; grandsons, Rick Bowers, James Schalk, Stanley Schalk; granddaughters, Courtney Cobb, Kim Friedman, Sophia Flam; great-grandsons, Andrew Cobb, Hud Bowers, Nathan Schalk, Beckett Friedman, Aidan Schalk, Donovan Friedman; great-granddaughters, Emmaline Cobb, Isabella Cobb, Dawson Bowers and Anna Sophia Friedman.Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Forest Hills Cemetery.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.The family expresses gratitude for the care and loving attention provided Virginia by Leigh Mays, Pam Tarver, the Soddy-Daisy Nursing Care Center and Hospice.
