Philip George Rivera, 55, of Harrison, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 of complications related to diabetes.He was born on May 22, 1957, in Longmont, Colo., and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1978 to 1986. He was pre-deceased by his mother, Priscilla Cordova Rivera.Phil leaves behind his wife Carolyn Hofius, of Chattanooga; his son, Tyler Rivera; his father, Emery Rivera; and his sister and brother-in-law, N. Arlene and Merv Casey, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Bobbi Rivera, of Harrison; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
