William Matthew "Matt" Pryor, 28, of East Ridge passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at his home. He attended South Seminole Baptist Church and had worked for U.S. Express. Matt was a graduate of East Ridge High School class of 2001, received his associates degree from Chattanooga State Technical Community College and attended UTC. His interests were music, guitar and antique muscle cars.He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry E. Pryor; and his grandfather, William Matthews, and his grandmother, Betty Jo Matthews.Survivors include his mother, Kathy Matthews Pryor, of East Ridge; grandmother, Novella Matthews, of East Ridge; aunts and uncles, Ron and Bitsy Renegar, of East Ridge, Reed and Beth Morgan, of Ringgold, Ga., and Francis and Ann Pryor, of Jasper, Tenn.; cousins, Mike and Sharon Renegar, Scott and Margarita Renegar, Grace, Christopher and Caroline Renegar and Brandon and Ellie Morgan. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday June 14, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Perry officiating. Entombment will be in Lomenick Cemetery Mausoleum.
