ROCKSPRING Mildred Nichols Mcgill, 88, died Friday, June 15, 2012.Was a member of the Rock Spring Baptist Church.Preceded in death by her husband, Ara Mack "Buck" McGill; sisters, Clarice Hawthorn, and Mavis Hooper.Survived by her sons, Gary McGill, Lamar McGill, and Gene McGill, all of Rock Spring; sisters, Cecile Cartwright, of Benton, Tenn., Joyce Kinsey, of Talking Rock, Ga., and Evelyn Hughes, of Ringgold; brothers, Marvin Nichols, of Scottsville, Kentucky, and Ross Nichols, of Woodstation; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces; and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Sunday, June 17, at 3 p.m. Service conducted by Rev. Todd Smith. Pallbearers are grandsons.Interment in the Rock Spring Cemetery.Family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m.The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, of LaFayette.
