SOUTH PITTSBURG Josie Mae Kirk Stewart, 93, died Friday, June 22, 2012 in a local healthcare facility.She attended Battle Creek Baptist Church and spent much of her time quilting, cooking and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Hazel Bass Kirk and seven siblings.She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Bradford, of South Pittsburg and Ellen Jones, of Bridgeport, Ala.; grandchildren, Donna Bradford, of Winston-Salem, N.C., Brenda Durham, of Crossroads, Tenn., Paul Jones, of Bridgeport, Ala., and Cindy Hale, of Castlewood, Va.; three great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Durham, LeAnn Durham and Caleb Murray; great-great-granddaughter, Makenna Murray; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home 2 p.m. CDT Sunday, June 24, 2012 with Rev.
