Edna Mae Cerasi, 73, of Ooltewah, passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, June 21, 2012.She was born May 6, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Thomas and Dorothy Sparks.Mrs. Cerasi was retired from Unum after many years of service and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.Her sister, Dorothy Briening preceded her in death.She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved her family, traveling, gardening and her dogs. She will be greatly missed.Survivors include her beloved husband of 52 years, Alex Cerasi; two daughters, Edna Cooze, and her husband Whitley, of Ooltewah; Lynn Temple and her husband Michael, of Ringgold; one grandson, Alex Cooze and his wife, Corinne, of Red Bank; one granddaughter, Megan Cooze, of Ooltewah; one great-grandson, Alex Cooze, of Red Bank; one brother, Thomas Sparks Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one sister, Jane Snyder, of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in the Chapel of Devotion at 1 p.m. today, with Rev.
