Roger Patrick Johnson, 49, of Sale Creek, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, at his home. He attended Hixson High School and worked as a Mechanic/Machinist. He loved NASCAR, motorcycles, boating and helping others.He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. "Pete" and Ercel OBrien Johnson; nephew, Joseph Johnson Grantham; several aunts and uncles.He is survived by his brother, Robert (Cindy) Johnson, of Sale Creek; sister, Lynn (Larry) Hicks, of Sale Creek, uncle, Bill (Debbie) OBrien, of Pennsylvania, nieces, Dianna Richard, of Chattanooga, Joanne Grantham, of Philadelphia, Pa.; nephews, Christopher White, of Soddy-Daisy, Michael Johnson, of Hixson, Tim Grantham, of Missouri; several cousins, great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Susan Jones, Robert Adkins.A family gathering will be from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
