Pledger Brian Maples, 53, of Chattanooga, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in an area hospital.Brian was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was the son of the late Pledger B. and Blanche Maples. Brian was a member of Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church and held memberships in Lookout Valley Masonic Lodge 673 and the Southern Cruisers Motorcycle Club.Survivors include his wife, Linda Maples; son, Pledger Brian "Skip" (Jennifer) Maples, Signal Mountain; two stepchildren, David (Cara) Norling, Melrose, Minn., and Deneen (Lebron) Bryant, Harrison; two sisters, Katheryn (Pete) Burns, Rogersville, Tenn., Patsy (Steven) Sluter, Signal Mountain; five grandchildren, Tori Maples, Kaylee Maples, Signal Mountain, and Spenser Norling, Melrose, Minn., Taylor and Brenden Wilson.Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Christian Smith officiating.Interment will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park with Chris Gordon, Rick Cooper, Jim Keith III, Sam Mosier, Clinton Davis and Scott McAllister serving as pallbearers.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 519 E.
