James Clark


ROSSVILLE James Franklin Clark, 75, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. He loved to dance and enjoyed fishing with his friends and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be sadly missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, William George Clark Sr. and Ida Mae Weathers Clark; siblings, May Louise, Francis, William, Jr., Roy, Myrtle, Gladys, Joe, Christine and Dorothy.Survivors include his loving wife of more than 57 years, Patricia Clark, of Rossville; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony (Twonna) Clark and Ronald (Sherry) Clark, all of Soddy-Daisy, and Mike Clark, of Rossville; sister and brother-in-law, Louise (David) Hicks, of Signal Mountain; seven grandchildren, Serenity, Hayden, Kaitlin, Michaela, Austin, Jordan and Ashlea; one great-grandchild, Cameron; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Harold Taylor officiating.Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.The family will begin receiving friends after 2 p.m. today and prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.Arrangements by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
