Robert Lindsey Sr.Robert Lindsey Sr., 76, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at a local hospital.Robert committed his life to God at an early age, continuing in his faithfulness till his passing. Robert retired after 20 years of service with the U.S. Air Force and an additional 20 years of employment with Bunge Oil.Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa and Leroy Lindsey Sr.; granddaughter, Ashley Lindsey; sister-in-law, Catherine Jackson; and nephew, Marchell Jackson.Those left to cherish his loving memory are his lovely wife of 55 years, Mary Ann; six children, Robert (Vivian), Dan "Roy", Geary, Jerry, Andre and Stephen Lindsey; faithful brother, Leroy (Christine) Lindsey; devoted brothers-in-law, Odis (Leatha) Jackson, Dan and Willie (Felicia) Jackson; loyal grandchildren, Jill (Brandon) Adkins and Querida Lindsey; along with three grandsons and three additional granddaughters; three nephews; four nieces; other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be at noon today, May 8, at New Monumental Baptist Church with Rev.
