Joseph Saky


FORT OGLETHORPE Joseph Saky, 95, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. He had lived most of his life in Buffalo, N.Y. where he worked for Railway Express as a delivery driver, and he moved to the north Georgia area in 1998. He coached little league baseball for many years in Buffalo and he was an avid golfer in Buffalo and in Lafayette.He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Saky; three brothers, Michael Dudak, Raymond Dudak and John Saky; and sister, Helen Dudak.Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Bob Blevins, of Rock Spring, Ga.; grandson and grand daughter-in-law, Dr. Murray DAngelo and Dr. Gerlinde Tynan; great-grandson, Connor DAngelo, all of Tucson, Ariz.; granddaughter, Vebe Sambuco of Haymarket, Va.; sister, Anna Basket, of Buffalo; brother, Steve Dudak, of Buffalo; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Humane Association, 1400 16th Street NW, Suite 360, Washington, DC 20036.Private family services will be held at a later date.Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
