ROSSVILLE Helen Lovella Jones, 84, passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 in a local hospital.A native and lifelong resident of the north Georgia area, Mrs. Jones was a member of Lookout Baptist Church and was retired from Bell South following 41 years of service. She also was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. While she enjoyed knitting and quilting in her spare time, her greatest love was animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Luther Crabtree and Florence Lucinda Chapman Crabtree; and a brother, Gilbert Crabtree. Mrs. Jones put her trust and faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and has passed that on to her loved ones.Survivors include her daughters, Diane Jones, of Rossville, and Deborah (Robert) Owens of East Ridge; brother, Charlie Crabtree, Flintstone; grandchildren, Cody Hamilton and Amber Turnipseed; six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Gerry Flynn officiating.
