Frances I. Cook, 86, of Chattanooga passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, in a local hospital.She was the previous owner of Cooks Bar-B-Q, a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and had served as Worthy Matron of the East Ridge Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James Kenneth Cook; and son, James "Bubba" Cook.Survivors include her three sons, Dave "Korger" Cook, Daniel Clark Cook and David Paul (Holly) Cook; one sister, Juanita Howard; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Tyner Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
