William J. Ford Jr., DDS, 85, died on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012. Dr. Ford was a native of Fargo, N.D., where he practiced dentistry for many years. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and had served as president of the North Dakota Dental Association. He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church in Fargo. After his retirement, Dr. Ford lived in Naples, Fla. In Naples, Dr. Ford was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing with family and friends. He was a loving man who will be missed by his family and friends.Dr. Ford was preceded in death by his parents, W.J. Ford Sr. and Blanche Young Ford.He is survived by his wife of more than 58 years, Bonne Jeanne Ford; his children, William John Ford III M.D., James Michael (Kim) Ford, and Pam (Michael) Reeves); his grandchildren, Taylor, Mike, Elizabeth and Katie.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 501 S. Moore Road, Chattanooga. Rev. Jim Vick will officiate.Burial will be at a later date at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Fargo, North Dakota.
