James Edwin "Big Mac" McMillian, 66, of Chattanooga went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, from a local hospital.He was a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church formerly Avondale Baptist.James was retired from U.S. Pipe and was a member of the International Molders and Allied Workers Union and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He graduated from Central High School Class of 65 and was of the staff of the Central High School Year Book.He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Eugene and Billie McMillian; two brothers, Oscar Eugene and Johnny Lamar McMillian.He is survived by one sister, Carolyn McMillian Brumlow; four nephews and one niece, Charles Eugene McMillian, Michael Ray Brumlow, Patrick Warren Brumlow, Christa Brumlow Waggoner and Jason McMillian; and fiance, Sharon Culver and her daughter, Belinda Sinclair.The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the online guest book @ www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Dennis Davidson officiating.Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home Inc., Highway 58 Chapel, 622-3171.
