Charles Granville "Charlie" Kelley, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012. He was a Chattanooga native.Charlie was a member of First Christian Church. He was a long-time teacher and professional tennis instructor. He graduated from McCallie School and the University of Chattanooga and attended the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis.Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Agnes Kelley; and a brother, Vernon Kelley Jr.Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Rose Ann Kelley; sons, Mark Vernon, Kevin McCarthy and Sean Granville Kelley, all of Germantown, Tenn.; stepchildren, Samuel E Bryant of Memphis, John H. Bryant, Syracuse, N.Y., Eben P. Bryant, Shelbyville, Tenn., and Shelby J.
