Richard Lee "Dick" Dragoo, Jr. died suddenly at his home Friday night, Aug. 31, 2012 of a heart attack.He was born in Chattanooga to Nancy and Bud Dragoo in 1956. He grew up in Signal Mountain and was an active part of the Brady Point Neighborhood Gang. He attended Baylor School and graduated from Red Bank High School. Dick then attended UTK, majoring in ornamental, horticultural landscape design. It was there he met his first wife, Lisa Courtney.Dick and Lisa moved to Atlanta/Woodstock Ga., where they raised their two beautiful children, Julia and Alex. He worked for many years in the landscape industry in Atlanta.He had recently moved back to Signal Mountain and married Linda Cavin. Richard loved nature, Signal Mountain, the Goodwill Store, the Lord Jesus Christ and his beloved cat, Bucky. He was very grateful for the fresh start he found in the fellowship of the Canton, Ga., Celebrate Recovery renewal group.
