Evelyn L. Kibble, 83, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a member of the Bayside Baptist Church and was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Lula Lawson Cox. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Kibble, Sr.; three brothers, Jimmy Cox, Fred Cox and LeBron Cox. She was a former member of the Lady Shriners and the Motor Maids of America. Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Mark) Scott, Harrison; two sons, Don (Tammy) Kibble, Jr., Apison, Tenn., and James Darwin Kibble, Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Logan Emory, Jeremy Kibble, Matthew Scott and Jacob Scott; two great-granddaughters, Ava Brown and Norah Brown; brother, Bill (C.J.) Cox, Hixson, Tenn., and sister, Linda (Frank) Price, Birchwood, Tenn. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
