CROSSVILLE Randell "Warner" Whittenburg, 80, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012. He was born Nov. 23, 1931 in Cumberland County, Tenn.He is survived by wife, Carolyn Barnwell Whittenburg, of Crossville; son, Nicholas Warner Whittenburg and his wife Saun, of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; brother, Tony Whittenburg, of Rockmart, Ga.; sisters, Claris Brown, of Crossville, JoAnn Tabor, of Ringgold, Ga., and Zera Wallace, of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Katlyn Gabor and Nicholas Baxter Whittenburg; and great-grandchild, Madelyn Gabor.Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. CST from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be Tolletts Chapel Cemetery.The family will receive friends today from noon until 3 p.m. CST three hours prior to the service at Hood Funeral Home.Hood Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements.
