Jr. James Claude Myers Jr., 73 of Chattanooga passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012.Jim lived most of his life in the Hamilton County area. He was a member of the St. John United Methodist Church.Jim served our country in the U.S. Air Force ; and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary as a Captain.Jim was preceded in death by his father and mother, James Sr. and Josephine Myers; and daughter, Beth Ann Myers. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Carol Myers; daughter, Mary Ann Ward; sister, Betty DAvignon; brother, Ken Myers; and granddaughter, Jamie Reynolds; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. today and on Wednesday, Sept. 5 from Noon until time of service at the North Chapel.Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Commodore Richard Washburn and Steve Krome officiating.
