Jimmy Don "J.D." Stuart, 64, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at a local hospital. He was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. He was retired from the Hamilton County Highway Dept. and was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the U.S. Navy. He loved to restore old cars and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Nola Stuart.He is survived by his wife, Virginia Stuart Ryan Stuart, Steven Allen Stuart, brother, David Stuart, all of Soddy-Daisy.Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Oak Street Baptist Church with Joe Sanchez officiating. Family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home.
