Mary Ann Cooke RINGGOLD Mary Ann Doremus Cooke, 86, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, in a local hospital.She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and was a Sunday school teacher working with the beginners and primaries for several years. She retired in 2001 from Boynton Elementary School as cafeteria manager and had been a Cub Scout den mother.She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cooke; her parents, Henry and Iva Easterly Doremus; and five siblings.Survivors include two sons, David (Kathy) Cooke and Mike (Brenda) Cooke, both of Ringgold; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bob (Patsy) Doremus, of Chattanooga; one sister, Josephine Mayberry, of Hixson; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road with the Rev.
