B.F. "Scrappy" McDade, 80, of Chattanooga died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012.He was born Aug. 18, 1932, in Chattanooga to Butchie and Pearl McDade.Mr. McDade was a self made man, an inventor with two patents, business owner, and a motorcycle enthusiast.Survivors include his personal friend and secretary, Christine Connley; sons, Michael (Gail Lindsey) McDade and Bruce McDade; grandson, Robert McDade; brothers and sisters Charles McDade, Virginia McMurray, John McDade, Don McDade, Pricilla Oldham and Bobby McDade; and several nieces and nephews.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanoogavalleyviewchapel.com.Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, from the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. Saturday.
