Billie Westmoreland Young, 84, of Chattanooga died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, in a local healthcare center.A longtime resident of Columbia, Tenn., Mrs. Young has lived in Chattanooga for the past 17 years.She was a member of Abbas House.Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Jones Young; sister, Mary Edith Gillum; and two brothers, Howard and George Westmoreland.Survivors are her son, Mark T. (Jane) Young, Ooltewah; daughter, Joan Lomelo, Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Rebecca Burgett, Columbia, Tenn.; and brother, James Westmoreland, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandchildren, Bonnie (Joshua) Davidson, Chattanooga, Alexandria and Victoria Lomelo, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; four great-grandchildren, Caelan, Gavin, Natalie and Ian Davidson; two stepgrandchilden, Brittany (Michael) Teets and Maeghan Ottinger and two step-great-grandchildren, Bentley and Anniston Teets, all of Ooltewah.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. CDT Saturday, Sept. 8, in the chapel of Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home, Columbia, Tenn.Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Culleoka, Tenn.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
