Bonnie McFarland, of Soddy-Daisy, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who has gone to be with her Lord. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, she was of the Baptist faith. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Billy and brother Henry. Survivors are her children: Connie ( Brian) Owens, Eddie McFarland, Tommy (Faddie) McFarland, Belinda (John) Newton and Raymond McFarland; siblings: Jensie, June, Jean, Faren, Pete, Danny, Richard, Gary and Ricky; grandchildren: Samatha Newton and Nick Owens; great-grandchildren: Lilith, Taira and Ethan Newton. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, in the chapel with Rev. Doug Tate officiating. Burial is in Smith Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.
